Pinched Nerve :

A pinched nerve is usually associated with pain. The "Pinched Nerve" is not considered a clinical term but may be contributed to the head, neck, and back pain. It may also cause painful problems in the arms, hands, legs, and feet. This will also bring on headaches due to nerves being stretched, irritated, or compressed by inflammation in or near the spine.

The brain is connected to the spinal cord which is connected to every cell, tissue, and organ in the entire body. The spinal column (the vertebra) and the skull naturally protect the soft and delicate tissue of the brain and spinal cord from damage.  Sometimes where the nerves exit the spinal column, these delicate nerves can be pinched off affecting everything the nerve is connected to.  The pinching of these nerves is most likely caused by a misalignment of one or more of the 24 vertebra in the spinal column.  Trauma, stress, poor posture, automobile accidents, sports injuries and other causes can create these misalignments, which immediately or over time, migrate into symptoms which cause headaches, back pain, and neck pain.

A misalignment of a vertebra putting pressure on a nerve is clinically called Vertebral Subluxation Complex.  Chiropractic physicians are highly trained specialists in locating misaligned vertebras and correcting the subluxation therefore; removing pressure on the nerve. By restoring the proper position and motion, the spine will in turn help reduce the pressure on the nerve causing these painful symptoms and other health problems.

Try a small experiment, take a rubber band and place tightly around two fingers. Watch what happens to the fingers.  They will turn different colors, depending on the length of time you leave the bands on and how tight.  With the band around your fingers the circulation is being cut off to the fingers. Eventually they will die. The same process occurs when you have a pinched nerve. The symptoms you experience won’t be as noticeable as they are in the fingers, but they are the same.  P.S. Please take off the rubber band!
